Brett 
 Redd

Brett is the Chief Executive Officer for Blue Bison. He oversees all accounting, finance, taxation, banking activity, and investor reporting. With over 10 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Brett has an diverse background in audit, tax, technology, and strategy. Prior to joining Blue Bison, Brett was a Partner at Squire & Company, PC, a large regional accounting firm, where he specialized in business advisory, buy/sell transactions, technology and strategic CFO services. In addition to his roles in public accounting, Brett has over 12 years of experience as a principal or investor in over 1,000 multi-family units, 100+ improved residential lots, 60,000 sq ft of new commercial space, and various land acquisitions. Brett has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance and a Masters in Accounting and enjoys coaching, reading, fishing, golfing and anything else his wife and kids are interested in.

Justin 
"Smitty" Smith

Justin "Smitty" Smith spent the bulk of his career before Blue Bison in high tech, scaling and leading go-to-market strategy and execution with early stage startups in Silicon Valley. Companies he worked with currently have a combined valuation of over $18B. While the name came later, Blue Bison Ventures was founded in 2019 and was born out of his desire to protect and grow his wealth, be a more present at home as well as channel passion for the dynamic benefits of multifamily investing. Over this time period Smitty’s zeroed in on the strategy and tactics to find the best deals, in the best markets, underwrite and get them under contract, with the goal to deliver excellent returns with low risk for investors. Smitty has a B.A. in Economics from BYU-Idaho, loves to golf, snowboard, read, play and coach sports and spend time with his wife and 4 sons.

What we have accomplished so far: We are excited to share that in Q1 of 2022 we acquired two target properties. One is a 153 unit property located in Independence, MO and the other is a 100 unit property in Paducah, KY.
Blue Bison Goals for 2022: Acquire 750 more properties by end of year. We believe we can accomplish this by buying 3-4 more complexes in the next 5-6 months. This can be done through successful underwriting and acquiring at the best price.
